My name is Elise Mahan and I am an artist and educator. my work is inspired by astrology and the natural world. as a child, I was adopted by a family of artists, musicians and writers, and my love for nature began there among the starry nights and majestic redwood trees that towered above the place we called home. I went on to study art history and painting in college, and continued on to teach art and manage my own small business selling fine art prints, paintings, and illustrations.
